Reverse: Inscription “INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION / PHILADELPHIA, MDCCCLXXVI, AWARDED BY / UNITED STATES / CENTENNIAL / COMMISSION” within a wreath. Plain edge… Marks the first U.S.-hosted international exposition, celebrating the nation’s 100th year of independence.
