The basket has octagonal, fluted sides and base, and bright cut engraving. It is marked “Peter and Anne Bateman” and “London 1797 – 1798” on the bottom.

Measurement: 4.5-inches high, 6.5-inches long.
Item Condition: Very good condition with exception of pinhead size hole made at point of lion passant punch mark.
