Pepperbox Pistol, Mariette Brevete, Four-Barrel, Serial Number 139, Marked “MARIETTE / BREVETE” on the front grip strap

The pistol measures 7″ in overall length, the .36-caliber barrels measure 3.5-inches in length. Scrolled leafy engraving on each side of frame, backstrap and trigger; barrel/frame numbering all matching. The trigger functions consistently however the action is sloppy with play. (Old repaired crack in left grip)
