Extraordinary reductive carving, essentially… body, mouth, coloration, and handle

Carved in two symmetrical hollowed halves and joined longitudinally, containing pebbles; the highly streamlined body with a subtly delineated mouth, painted black above and pale gray/white below, terminating in a long tapering handle. The mouth is not incidental. It appears deliberately positioned exactly where the head terminates, and in profile it gives the blunt end a distinctly mammalian/cetacean character.
