King Charles II is shown seated with his crown on the table at right. Likely made to commemorate the restoration of the monarchy.

Over his right shoulder, above the crown is a condensed timeline of the king’s major life event dates, each within a wreath. (Birth: 1630, Landed in Scotland… crowned King of Scots: 1650, 1661: It was decided that he should return to his rightful role, and become king – Coronation [restoration]: 1661, Death: 1685.

The King wears the Great George Pendant, the Order of the Garter collar and garter.

Measurement: Frame: 29" x 20"; View: 22.5" x 13.5"

Item Condition: Very good, strong color; mounted in an appropriate yet modern frame. Not examined out of frame. Displays beautifully.
