Hand-forged wrought iron hanging rushlight holder with a long, slender stem terminating in a forged suspension hook. The lower end is fitted with a pivoted rushnip operated by a tightly coiled counterweight. A forged collar positioned near the center of the stem provides a secondary point of suspension or support.
