Hand-forged wrought iron hanging loom light fitted with a rotating suspension hook above a rectangular frame enclosing a forged leaf spring. The lower section incorporates a rushnip with narrow jaws and an integral cylindrical candle socket. The leaf spring mechanism is characteristic of examples dating to the mid- to late 18th century.

Item Condition: Well-developed patina with scattered light oxidation consistent with age. The forged leaf spring remains intact, and the adjustable mechanism is functional.
