Forged wrought iron rushnip holder with narrow jaws, a straight stem, and a curved arm terminating in a faceted garnet-form counterweight. Mounted in a turned pine base with concentric turned decoration.

Material: Forged wrought iron and turned pine.
Item Condition: The turned pine base exhibits significant shrinkage with a full-length vertical split, losses around the lower perimeter, and numerous historic pesting. Remnants of a deep and robust patina on the base.
