Eighteenth Century Slant-Lid Desk in Old Red Paint, Subtle Faux Graining

The fall-front opens to a fitted interior consisting of three cubbies over seven drawers. The case features four overhanging thumbmolded drawers; molded base resting on an applied bracket base flanking a sensational shaped drop panel. The surface displays light-broadly-brushed black graining on the red ground with a dry patina… nice surface.
