Lincoln Size Deringer with a silver blade front sight and notch rear sight. There is a standard “P” on the left side of the breech, “DERINGER / PHILADEL” on top barrel flat which is repeated on the lockplate with scroll engraving; scroll engraved tang, hammer and lock. Silver mounted including accent plate, barrel bands, escutcheons; buttplate and forend tip and trigger guard. The silver trigger guard is scroll engraved and features a pineapple finial and long tang. The grip is inlayed with a vacant silver shield shape thumbpiece featuring line-engraved border.
The brown barrel features lots of striping; breech, lockplate and hammer are smooth smoky gunmetal gray. This is a very nice example.
Measurement: .44-caliber percussion; 2.5” barrel; overall length is approx.”
