Possibly Deerfield
: A charming fully developed provincial tall clock featuring all the appointments of a classic Roxbury case and is a scarcely encountered small case. The bonnet and waist columns are brass stop fluted…overall, the moldings are fully developed echoing an earlier stylistic treatment. A faux panel ornaments the base above the double-molded bracket with cutout feet. The pendulum door is tombstone arched and molded; the original pierced cresting is nicely executed. The dial is of note in that the oval centering the arch is painted with “Father Time” flanked by scrolling; spandrels feature beautiful polychrome birds and flowers.
