An outstanding small blockfront chest remaining in a scarcely encountered high degree of originality; overhanging top [molded edges] over conforming cockbeaded case… the facade featuring rounded blocking; four graduated drawers set with original silvered brasses and escutcheons… the whole raised on molded base [skirt pendant], raised on four robust claw and ball feet [legs displaying incised detail].
