Cast brass whale oil lamp with a baluster-turned standard supporting a double-wick font. Raised on a broad stepped circular base, the lamp displays well-balanced proportions characteristic of early nineteenth-century lighting. The twin wick tubes remain in place, while the removable burner assembly is no longer present. The brass retains an untouched surface with naturally developed patina throughout.

Item Condition: Very good condition with expected wear consistent with age and use. The brass retains a pleasing, naturally aged surface with light wear from handling. The burner assembly is absent, with the original twin wick tubes remaining in place. No apparent dents or repairs.
