A fine .28-caliber small frame pepperbox, serial number 2472, 5 shot barrel group, beautifully cased with all its accessories. Robbins & Lawrence pistols featured a distinct shape…a unique swoosh at the back of the frame. The barrel cluster retains a beautiful smooth brown finish; attractive engravings and retains about 90% original deep blue. Ribbed barrel cluster, hinged model…tips down for capping; barrel screws off at breach for loading The case contains a marked Robbins & Lawrence flask (never seen with any other pistol), bullet mold and distinctive Robbins & Lawrence tool for removing the barrel; case key is included.

Item Condition: Fine condition with only a tight [closed] fissure at base of left grip. There are two tight shrinkage cracks to lid of case that really don’t distract. The action is tight and smooth.
