Hand-forged Betty lamp with a pear-shaped oil reservoir, drawn beak, and hinged cover with shaped thumbpiece. Retains its original forged bail with suspension loop, wick pick suspended by a chain, and forged support arm above the burner. A well-preserved American example exhibiting sound hand-forged construction and an excellent untouched period surface.

Item Condition: Very good condition with an untouched dark patina. Minor wear and light surface oxidation.
