Ovoid bowl with “JMJ” initials inscribed on handle. “IWG” mark on reverse surface of handle, “A. ARMSTRONG” on reverse surface of neck. The double makers’ marks are evidence of a partnership between Gethen and Armstrong, which would sometimes occur between silversmiths
