A well carved peace eagle surmounted by starburst and holding an olive branch within a conforming border containing the owner’s name: A.E. THOMPSON / NEW YORK… all within a notch-carved border.

Item Date: 1850 - 1890

Measurement: Diameter: 4.5"; Height: 3"

Material: A clear softwood

Item Condition: This print was actually frequently used; the handle is worn of its surface pigment and displays a rich working patina. There is a perfectly repaired [aligned and pinned] double crack that doesn’t compromise the integrity of aesthetic. Displays very well.
