This miniature variant was crafted to sit elevated on a table or chest. The chest features very nice wood displaying good color and patina. The slightly projecting thumb-molded lid is above a dovetail joined case containing a pair of short, flush-fitting drawers that are set within a double-arch molded drawer surround on a molded base raised on compressed ball feet.
