Queen Anne Compass-Seat Slipper Chair, Probably Original Surface

This chair features a delicate, peaked crest rail, vasiform splat resting in a molded-edge shoe; upholstered slip compass seat; tenoned serpentine seat rails. The front legs are very fine and rest on pad feet; raked rear legs feature chamfered edges and are joined to front legs by classic Boston style block-and-turned stretchers.

Material: Walnut, maple seat frame
