Brokerage Programs:

Antique Associates at West Townsend, Inc is in the business of brokering quality antiques and fine arts between willing sellers and willing buyers. We offer one of the best sales teams in business, an extensive customer base with insatiable wants, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. A very wise collector once said, "If you want to get the most for your item or collection, find the dealer that is the most enthusiastic about your merchandise, make a fair deal, and wait for the check". Wiser words were never spoken. We at AAAWT will do our best to get you the most. Our motto is to "Add Value, Not Costs", and that's what we'll do for you!!


Basic Brokerage for a Single Item or Whole Collection:

Definition: AAAWT sells your item or collection at one of several venues or methods, and returns 80% of the gross sale to you.

Commission Rate: 20%

Example:Item sells for 200,000You get 160,000
Example:Item sells for 400,000You get 320,000
Example:Items does not sellYou get your item back. Your cost: 0

Includes: Full Photography, Any Advertising Fees or Costs, Insurance, all Related Merchandising;

Payment to Consignor: 1st and 15th of Each Month, offset by one week for buyer validation of item

Items Guarantee: AAAWT offers all buyers one week to validate a purchase, and we require Consignors to honor the guarantee. In effect, the purchase is not complete until the buyer has accepted the item per the terms on our "Sales Policy" page. See link above.

Acceptable Methods of Payment: On behalf of our consignors, we take cash, checks and money orders.

Credit Cards: It is up to the consignor whether or not to accept credit and debit cards, but if choosing to do so, the consignor agrees to pick up the cost of the credit card fees, usually 3%

Consignor is responsible to deliver the merchandise to our facility, or pay for the shipping. If merchandise is not sold, the consignor is responsible for pick-up or shipping costs. Of course, we are happy to assist with arrangements.


Fixed Price or Net Return Brokerage:

Definition: You and the AAAWT Sales Manager settle on a Fixed Return Price that will be returned to you, regardless of selling price

Commission Rate: AAAWT keeps anything over the Fixed Return Price

Example:Fixed Return Price is 100,000Item sells for 101,000You get 100,000
Example:Fixed Return Price is 100,000Item sells for 130,000You get 100,000
Example:Fixed Return Price is 100,000Items does not sellYou get your item back. Your cost: 0
