A pair of elaborately decorated jars depicting a merchant and slave with cargo ship in background... all within a festooned oval lozenge tied with bowknot. The bottom of each jar marked "BP" for the De Blompot workshop; each jar retaining brass lid.

Date: Circa 1770

Measurement: Jar alone: 9.25-inches; with lids: 14.25"

Material: Earthenware

Condition: Excellent original condition with only typical glaze wear to rim.
