Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Toby Jug

Base Inscribed Manufactured for Phillips Oxford St London

A Doulton Lambeth salt glazed stoneware double XX Toby on barrel jug, modelled straddling a barrel poring beer from a jug. The pouring spout forms part of his tri-corn hat; his hair forming the handle with a tied bow terminal. The jug has various marks to the base including a Doulton Lambeth mark along with impressed mark: MANUFACTURED FOR PHILLIPS OXFORD ST LONDON and a registration number.
