Bullet Molds, Pair, Multi Cavity, N. S. Brockway, Image 1

Scarce pair of multi-cavity bullet molds by N. S. Brockway of Bellows Falls, Vermont. Both molds have four cavities and rotary sprue cutters. The .38 caliber mold displays a poor stamping of "N. S. Brockway" nonetheless identifies the maker. The .31 caliber mold is identical in manufacture, so we know it is also a Brockway. Norman Swain Brockway (1841-1936) is well-known as the maker of beautiful percussion target rifles.
