Barrel Form Flask, Staved Barrel Bottle Set on 4 Feet, Rigaree

Flask in the form of a staved barrel with applied rigaree decoration set on four feet. Attached note "Canteen of Elihu Baxter, American Revolution, brought home by (him)". Foot repair, old rim repair. From the estate of Percival P. Baxter. By descent in the family. Accompanied by a letter from the Corning Museum of Glass (that executed the foot repair in 1971).
