Attributed to Daniel G. Lamont (1818-1833), Probably New Hampshire or Massachusetts

The gentleman's [likely a sea captain] wife wears a blue dress; her watch and many pieces of jewelry display the family's wealth.

Condition: Excellent condition, both portraits display beautifully. The canvases are lined and remain on original stretchers; minor trivial spots of retouch; bright and clean.
