The chair features a serpentine crest above seven spindles and a curved mid-rail with paddle writing tablet above a large drawer... and a beautifully carved knuckle handhold. Beneath the paddle is a candle slide over three baluster and reel turned supports The "D" shaped seat is raised on robustly turned legs joined by bulbous turned H-stretcher. This commodious chair is very comfortable.
