(Berks County) The artist's initials are printed at the base of large heart... "F. K.". The Fraktur was likely printed at Adler's in Reading, Pennsylvania.

The text within the large heart reads: "GEBURTS und TAUFSHEIN" (Birth and Baptism). The standard main text blanks were inscribed by Krebs.

Date: 1803

Measurement: Frame: 20" x 17"; View: 16" x 13"

Material: Watercolor and ink on paper, modern painted wood frame.

Condition: Very good, strong color, typical scattered light foxing; short crease at 3 o'clock with tight fissure... any imperfections are typical and trivial... consistent with age. Not examined out of frame.
