Unusual size and quality, rich greasy blue cobalt
This piece features an original pewter lid with shell-form thumbpiece mirroring impressed decoration. The neck is ribbed and brushed in cobalt; shoulder with impressed decorative devices is also brushed in deep cobalt... above three impressed rosettes, the center flanked by rampant lions.
