South Shore, Massachusetts, Circa 1800
Butternut and white pine

The generously overhung rectangular top with molded edge over a conforming case with four long-drawers...each with beaded molding. The case raised on tall, nicely shaped applied bracket feet. Although not original, the brasses are appropriate and are in the original holes; there is an early repair to one rear foot with all else being fine.
(Top measures: 20 5/8 by 42"; case measures 38 5/8" wide by 19" deep; height: 36.25".)
