Circa 1800 to 1825 - SOLD



The desk decorated on all sides and back with geometric patterned straw work veneer; bone escutcheon, knobs, and feet. Desk features a lift-top, lower drawer, interior drawer and four compartments. There are imperfections; two back feet probably replaced, back right foot loose in socket but retained in drawer.
Scattered losses of straw, primarily to edges, the wood under the straw work veneer appears to be pine. Dimensions: 10.5" H, 8.75" W, 6" D.
