Painting on Ivory of Child in Brass Frame, 1850's - 1870's - SOLD

Miniature full length portrait of a child in a white dress, signed "FA, fil 1867" under the mat. The frame is stamped ARCO Trade Mark, and the stand fully marked with the maker's name, Birmingham, and patent number, it is also inscribed in pencil "141 years old / Signed Fagill [sic] 1867 / painted on ivory."
Condition: very good.
Dimensions: 8.25 by 6.5-inch frame, 5 by 3-inch sight-size.
