Condition: Excellent

Additional Information: A turned rimmed treenware plate with red painted back. The
back is impressed with owners’ marks… “JSPS” and displays a small “X” conjoined with
sword-like device. The shows trivial traces of white paint.

Material: Poplar

Condition: NO cracks to sides, couple shrinkage fissures to bottom; chips to base but
so what! Shrinkage crack and edge chips to rim of lid. Displays well.

Additional Information: A large vinegar putty or rag rolled faux grain painted surface.
The lid with integral knob on the swelled container featuring defined lip and flaring base.
The largest we have seen in more than forty years!
