competently constructed with stern enclosure, two seats, keel, and carved rudder.

patina. Perhaps the boat was in direct sunlight for many decades causing thinning and
eventual loss of paint…displays well. (Length: 31"; width: 5"; height: 6.75")
A large three-dimensional collage; theater; technically brilliant and elaborate panorama organized on different planes displaying competent and successful use of prospective, design, and creativity. The work seduces and compels emotional participation; what is the translation? Who is the mustached man? The artist used actual cutouts; photographs (heads/faces) on printed bodies of gentleman; clever bending, rolling, and positioning of human figures creating depth and movement. The makers' competent layering and painting of cardstock used to fabricate architectural elements such as stonework, portico, balcony and billiard room produced realistic imagery; tromp l'oeil; The detailing of pierced architectural elements, faux painted marble, wallpaper, and fencing fool the eye; the viewer sees wood, stone and iron rather than paper. The landscaping, drama and vignettes are sensational. This amazing art can only be fully appreciated by viewing in-person. (Dimensions: 21" H, 40.5" W, 11.25" D)
