A rarely encountered survivor that was mounted to the wall above the keeping room
fireplace. The crane pivoted out for drying blankets or other laundry; also, for reflecting
fireplace heat to sitter; dividing room for sleeping privacy and retarding winter drafts.
The pintles are carved; pintle mounting brackets are old yet not original or period.

Appliqued on either side of a central floral motif. All hand sewn with wool fringe. Professionally mounted for display.

A pair of cats shown within a garland with red berries centered by neatly compartmentalized floral devices and birds; the whole framed with a border of zigzag tabs. The work is in very good condition, minor thread loss to red flower at left center edge, call for full and accurate description. The matt is professionally mounted for wall display and measures 51 by 32.5”.
A balanced floral motif featuring a pair of frolicking dogs; zigzag frieze, wool fringe border; likely
a section of bed furnishing. Could be used as a window treatment or wall art; professionally
