Additional Information: The large oval top on original cleats pivoting on rod received
by base with shaped sides joined by storage box and wedged medial stretcher…raised
on original shoe-feet.
The oval top with robust patina displays traces of original red paint and pivots with shaped cleats above a rectangular seat-box featuring applied molding which creates a sunken panel. The hour–glass shaped sides joined by stretcher are raised on carved shoe feet. The pivot-dowel is replaced; screws have been added to the top during the tables working life with all else fine.

The large overhanging top with shaped cleats is attached to plain apron and secured by original turned pins; table raised on slightly tapering legs. Accompanying this table are original extension boards used for large gatherings. The shrinkage gap at the center of the two-board top has been filled with a conforming strip of wood. Castors were added during the table's working life. (Height: 30.5"; Top: 84.5 by 36.5"; top with extensions: 116.5 by 36.5")

are also joined by a medial shelf.

A Classical Sheraton paint-decorated chamber stand painted yellow and featuring bronze powder stenciled leafage with hand painted veining; other decoration painted by hand including eight-point stars, tendrils, baskets; undulating vines, arrows and fanciful flourishes. The scrolled splashboards above a top with basin cutout, lower shelf above single drawer. The whole raised on lovely turned feet displaying fancy decoration.

The shaped splashboard with high scrolled crest and cyma-curved and scrolled ends is of dovetail construction and is ornamented with brass rosettes; and is above a shallow shelf above the top with basin cutout; also fitted for glasses. The chamber-stand is raised on finely turned delicate legs joined by the medial shelf fitted with full-width drawer of dovetail construction that retains its original brass pulls. The grain painted rosewood decoration, green banding, and yellow striping is original as is the bronze powder stenciled conch and oak leaf decoration with hand-painted tendrils on the backboard and drawer front; note the stencil star motif on inner side scrolls. Basswood and white pine. (Height: 42"; width: 19.5"; depth: 16".)

stepdown tablet sides on a plain apron having single long drawer; the apron joining
turned legs. Excellent original condition, nice patina.
