Measurement: Height: 30.5"; width: 10.5"; base diameter: 6.75"

Material: Rolled tinned sheet iron

Condition: Dent to conical bae, else fine, displays well

Additional Information: Unusual oxbow wire reinforced rolled edge flat spring traveling
device attached to conforming horizontal arm featuring a pair of crimped drip pans
containing folded rim nozzles having candle stub ejection apertures. The conical sand
weighted base with low center of gravity was nearly impossible to knock over which was
a great benefit to fire safety within shops and offices for which they were designed.
Original condition, good patina.

Measurement: Height: 26"

Material: Beech, birch, and pine; wrought and sheet iron

Condition: Excellent, fissure to foot strengthened early in working life with small wood
peg. A rosewood nail was used to guarantee the integrity of a similar shrinkage fissure
in the top of one stand by piercing the side. The stands display well on tabletop or floor.

Additional Information: The octagonal top having a chamfered underside raised on
carved post resting on cruciform base featuring down sloping scalloped shoe feet. The
pricket within wrought iron collar is attached to a conforming sheet iron drip-pan and is
attached to top via rosehead nails.

Measurement: Height: 28.75"; base diameter: 6.125"

Material: Tinned sheet iron, original green paint

Condition: Good, typical dry patina, scattered paint losses, displays well

Additional Information: The round sand weighted base with low center of gravity was
nearly impossible to knock over which was a great benefit to fire safety within shops and
offices for which they were designed. The triple candle sockets are a rare feature
affording luminous intensity.

The two-stage tapering round-to-octagonal standard features a beautiful knop at point of
transition; the rod standard continues to a faceted spear point finial. The candle socket
with downturned rim is tabbed and riveted to drip pan, rush jaw and spring frame are
operational. The oak “X” form base having chamfered edges and ends displays minor losses
caused by nonactive cooties. Overall dark patina, very good condition.

The urn-like final on compressed ball above knop "raised up" and turned as part of the shaft raised on cyma-form legs terminated by large round feet. The single brass tulip-form candle socket on brass bobeche mounted on adjustable bracket. Great color and fine original condition. (58.25-inches.)
