The tapering bow above arm rail with shaped handholds pierced by seven splayed spindles; the arm is supported by turned posts; the shaped saddle seat features chamfering and pontil and is grooved at inside and outside edges of spindle platform. The chair is raised on ring and vase turned legs with abruptly tapered foot (toes) joined by robust swelled stretchers. A very successful chair of good proportion.
