Commensurate with age and use. An honest gun, original flintlock; The mechanics are fine... tight and smooth; barrel is mostly brown with light pitting; tight shrinkage fissure to wrist. Aft sideplate screw may be an early replacement. The gun displays well.

Anonymous. Octagonal to round .45-caliber barrel having brass dovetailed front blade sight. Trade lock by R. Ashmore & Son. Original surface.
