Side-by-side chamfered slide lids, each pierced with three slots for voting chips. The case is joined with finely cut dovetails, full case bottom above full-length drawer. Retains three original locks. Inscribed on side of drawer in pencil: "W.H. Brown/Feb. 18, 90"...likely an election monitor as the box style, toolmarks, construction and tiny finish nails seem earlier.
