Beginner's Marking Sampler using the typical alphabet and various decorative and representative motifs, undoubtedly executed as a learning exercise.
Sampler displayed in a birdseye maple frame, and laid down (not glued) to a modern linen for aesthethic purposes. Framed 11/27/65.

A very pleasing onion shape featuring large repeating splotches of manganese against reddish-brown glaze; a few tiny nicks at upper right of coin slot, tiny glaze loss on back that may be "in-the-making". (Dimensions: H: 4.5")
