The subject is positioned against a brown and mustard background and is seated in a paint decorated windsor chair;
he wears a green coat with prominent brass buttons; underneath the outer coat is a mustard colored waistcoat
with a simple collared shirt turned up under the chin. There is scattered minor retouch to abrasions; nothing significant.

Bold applied cornice molding over a case containing six long graduated drawers all with
lip molded edge in fine condition. The case rests on molded base with straight scrolled
bracket feet. All edges of original backboards are sharply chamfered and received by
dado. Completely original remarkable condition with one small repair to left rear foot facing.
(Height: 51” , width of case: 36.25” , depth of case: 17.25” )
