Fantastic frame housing an albumen photograph showing a bounty of gamebirds, a hunting dog, and the Spencer Repeating Shotgun centered by a 4-inch wide hand painted frame. 290 Broadway, Manhattan was the location of J. W. Frazier’s military goods business; he was also agent for the Spencer Gun Company.

Christopher Miner Spencer (b. 1833 d. 1922) moved his factory from Boston, Massachusetts to Windsor, Connecticut in 1882 to manufacture his new Repeating Shotgun. The company folded in 1890.
