A Rare Iron Frame Plant 3rd Model .42 Caliber Cupfire Revolver
Probably fewer than 50 of these were made... - SOLD

This example with serial number 6589 has a 5-inch barrel and a rare iron frame, and has never been converted to rimfire, as so many were. The barrel retains 80% bright blue, the cylinder has about 35% thinning blue. The frame is an even light to medium gray. The rosewood grips retain about 75% varnish. There is a bullet dent in the right side. It would be interesting to know how that occurred.

RL - SOLD
