The second reads "The 11 October 1842 Barrent/Barent/Barret Greavey's profile was taken - [This in his writing on the back of the portrait.] / Barrent/Barent/Barret Greavey died the 3rd of August 1843.] [This in Grandfather Greavey's writing on the back of the portrait.] / Born 1793 / ...portrait is not mounted.....remains..."

Inlaid Music Box
Sublime Harmony
Swiss, circa 1850-1900
This Sublime Harmony music box has a grain painted case and a rosewood lid with inlaid musical instruments. The cylinder measures 8-inches in length, and the black interior has a glass dust cover, although there is no label. The box plays several airs and is marked "Switzerland" on bottom. There is some expected scuffing on the case and a little wear along edge of lid, and otherwise remains in very good physical condition and very good running condition. Measures 17.25-inches in width, 8.25-inches in depth and 5.5-inches in height.
