The rectangular domed-top with oval cartouche; gold saw-tooth border centering initials F.T within the cartouche...the case retains original lock and hinges. Fantastic bold decoration done in brown against bright yellow. The interior and bottom were lined with blue paper during the period inviting beetles to the paper-glue buffet; the integrity of the box was not compromised. (Height: 7.125 inches; width: 12 inches; depth: 6.25 inches.)
