Monument beautifully scripted in ink as below:

Eliza J. C. Hudson died Oct. 25 1810 aged 2 years
Mary Hudson died March 22 1816 aged 1 year
Mary Elizabeth Hudson died June 29th 1820 aged 65 years
The gold gilt legend-identifying maker reads Wrought By Eliza J.C. Hudson Age 12 Years-1826; eglomise remains in fine original condition. The gilt frame with scattered edge losses is original as is the backboard with framers label. The silk is evenly toned and there is some loss to silk threads on obelisk. The painted colors remain strong. Pasted to the backboard is the label of:

A Pair of Exceedingly Small
Giltwood Girandole Mirrors
American or English
First half-19th Century

Having opposing eagles perched on rocky crest, cavetto molded frames with spherule mounts and ring-turned ebonized liner all above foliate carving. Construction is of gesso and gold leaf over white pine; liners are maple with glass being silvered. Both remain intact in original condition with only minor repairs and re-gilding. (Height: 26-inches.)

A Superb Federal Sideboard
Mahogany...inlay, cross-banding, bellflowers
Probably Newport, Rhode Island
Circa 1810

This mahogany sideboard is vibrantly set with the finest cross-banded and book matched mahogany veneers. The finely proportioned case has "D" shaped ends containing short drawers above conforming doors centered by a long central drawer above serpentine cabinet doors raised upon square tapered legs with spade feet. At under six feet in length this sideboard is a very agreeable small size. (Height 43.25-inches; Length 70.5-inches; 23.25-inches.)
