Stippled trees surround the pond before the mountainous range; hillocks and grasses ad realism and depth to the terrain...reflections of trees and sky atop the water...eight swans float as a cow drinks before the old cabin. A well-done scene of peace having good color. The work is mounted within a figured maple frame with gilt line having overall dimensions of 24.25 by 20.5-inches.
