Characteristically 18th century New York New York

Tapered body, applied molded base band, stepped domed cover with crenate lip at front, attached with five knuckle hinge, double scroll handle with baluster drop, scroll thumb grip. Engraved floral and scroll decoration with a cornet and sheaf of wheat over monogram "JJH." (Approximately 8-inches high, base diameter approximately 5.75-inches.)
