White pine and basswood

The slightly overhanging top above a plain apron with two drawers; the whole raised on tall double tapered legs. Bold strokes of black paint against a red ground as was favored by many Maine fancy painters. There are two very old tight shrinkage fissures in the top as depicted; nothing that distracts or compromises the integrity of the table. Brasses are old appropriate replacements with all else being fine and original. (Height: 29.25 inches; Top: 18.75 x 16.75 inches.)
