Circa 1810-1815

A good unmarked single edged saber with three-quarter length fuller and clipped point; steel reverse "P" guard has cutout for sword knot. Single piece bird head style pommel and backstrap...checkered ivory grip; full backstrap, quillon, and knuckle bow are iron; deep brown patina throughout. The blade is pitted and has light surface rust; ivory handle has typical vertical cracks as depicted. (Length: 39.25-inches.)
